ARAKU COFFEE

My staple coffee shop in Paris. Really nice and good coffee. Coming from India. The people are nice and helpful. I go there often to buy coffee and so far never been disappointed by their products. Really recommend. You can also try a quick cup in the shop itself.

I was very pleased with this little cafe. We passed by coincidentally and couldnt help but give it a try. The cafe is quite small on the inside, but the weather was beautiful, so we luckily got to enjoy our coffee outside. The coffee was well made, some fruity notes to it. The barista or owner was super super friendly. He welcomed us in the warmest way possible. We then walked around the neighbourhood, which gave us a different sense of paris. It is a calm and safe neighbourhood, so everything worked out well. Do try this place if you ever have time to spare for a stroll.

Great coffee. Saw the place at my last day in Paris, 27.6.21. The smell was really good so I just tried an esspresso. I continued walking to a garden at the end of the street, and I just realised I finished the coffee. I ran straight back and got me a double esspresso! I really enjoyed the coffee, which is much much more above the average of Paris coffee shops' quality. The guy at the place gave me a great service, and all in all I would certainly come back on my next visit to Paris to enjoy the coffee.

Be aware: PRICEY. This is the only negative factor about this boutique for coffee. Araku has a great history, traditionally sourced from India and high-quality. The staff was very knowledgeable about their products and the story behind them. 250g of the standard roast were 18,50€ which I personally find totally overpriced. The coffee had quite a sour note as well, which disqualifies it from my point of view.

Milk in flat white was burnt, cookies came from a bag. Naja. 2 stars for the nice design and nice products selection that they sell.

This place should be more highly rated — hands down. There are many cute coffee shops around (it's Paris, after all). But while they may look it, they're not all perfect. This spot, though. Oh, man. Better than just about anywhere in LA (and this morning I can confirm, consistent!). I finally ordered a flat white at this spot...quick note on that... Cappuccino vs. Flat White: While I didn't ask how it was at this particular spot and didn't shift from my first home-run choice at all, many cappuccinos in the area seem to be larger (more like a latte at home) and/or with one shot, while flat whites are often separately advertised as two shots and cost around 0.50 more at most places for that reason. So a little different than in the U.S. (which is probably better, since the difference in the U.S. is often confusing or arbitrary at best, and certainly is inconsistent between shops). But I went with the flat white at this spot from the first try, and it was perfect. Like a perfect third-wave cappuccino at home, but even better. Strong, not too acidic, excellent flavor. Worth a proper review, here. Also, very kind staff. I didn't try the food (pastries), but may have to just to update the review more thoroughly...we'll see what we have time for this trip. Seating: Cute shop with a lovely design and gorgeous wood bench inside. I'm sure it gets busy at some point, but I'm here during PERFECT summer days (not too hot, amazingly), and there's always been a little space to work here. Giant sliding doors are always open during open hours (and good weather, I imagine) and help the airy feel inside. Seating outside on small 1-2-person benches works perfectly if it does get busy inside and is probably what you really want to do to enjoy Paris, of course. If you're local, they have a great shop selection obviously made by someone who cares. Everything is a bit subjective, but they definitely have some of the (if not, THE) best versions of various coffee tools (Moccamaster coffee makers; affordable but very effective DeLongh

It was good and delicious.....i would prefer to go the Araku coffee shop......if i would get the chance to visit the paris again i would go to the shop again.....

coffee beans from araku valley of India. glad they had ice americano cuz recently it became really hot in Paris. sat at the bar next to the cashier for a while and it seemed like coffee with orange and lemon was also popular.

This is a great coffee place for anyone who loves their coffee. They serve excellent coffee to stay in or take away. They also sell a great variety of coffee beans, ground coffee, capsules and all manners of coffee making equipment. It’s definitely worth a visit.
